Your hosts, Robert and Stefanie Pack would like to welcome you to Okasandu Hunting Safaris’ Namibia. The Pack Family runs the Cattle Ranch Okasandu for the 4th generation and in 2016 we started Okasandu Hunting Safaris.
GENERAL INFORMATION
PLEASE NOTE
- Trophy hunting is open from 01 February to 30 November each year.
- Recommended duration of hunt: 7-14 day
FAMILY, CUISINE AND TRANSFER
- Look forward to great Namibian delicacies complimented with excellent South African wines
- For the meat lover we have the best steaks and game dishes with fresh salads and vegetables
- We will personally pick you up and bring you back to the airport in one of our air-conditioned vehicles
- You will enjoy our competent service from your booking until your trophies are safely at home.
VACCINATION
- Farm Okasandu is malaria free and for central Namibia no vaccinations are prescribed
- It is recommended that Polio and Tetanus are up to date.
WEAPON IMPORT, CALIBRES, AMMUNITION
Weapon import permits are issued upon arrival and it is an easy process. You will receive the weapon import
application with your booking confirmation from us.
For plains game hunts take along your known rifle in a calibre starting from 300 WinMag to .375 H&H. High
penetration bullets such as Barnes TTSX, Swift A Frame and Hornady GMX are recommended (40-60 bullets).
Different rifles in different calibres withexcellent optics are available to rent.
EQUIPMENT
Reisepass (min. noch 7 Monate gültig), Kreditkarten, Bargeld, WBK, 2x (oliv-)grüne Jagdgarnitur (BW), 2x legere
Garnitur, Pullover, Weste, winddichter Parka (0°C im Winter möglich), leichte Jagdschuhe, Hut, Messer, Sonnenschutz,
Lippenbalsam und Nasensalbe, Mückenspray, Foto/Video, Fernglas (max 10x), Mobiltelefon, Ersatzbrille.
LIABILITY
Please insure that your personal and travel insurance is adequate. It must be noted that hunting is a dangerous
vocation. Although Okasandu Hunting Safaris and the Pack Family are committed to your safety, comfort and
enjoyment, we cannot be held responsible for any accidents, illness or death and losses that may occur whilst on
the safari.
FLIGHTS
Flights can be booked via your well known travel agent via Frankfurt (Germany) or Johannesburg (South Africa).
